Susan's Tale
by DCDave

One thing about his Georgetown life
He said he didn't mind
Was being shut of Lisa dear
Whom he had left behind.

So quoth the Clinton confidante,
A schemer born and bred,
About Vince Foster's better half,
Whose bulwark now was dead.

It's but another dreary fact
She thought it best we knew,
A thing I'd think it worse to tell
If it, indeed, were true.

The chance of which, I have to say,
I credit not at all,
For if such words were really said,
I doubt that she'd recall.
