The Road to Hell...
by DCDave

He joined the spooks to fight the reds
With all their means covert,
Not the firm foundation
Of his nation to subvert.

But once he'd signed upon the line
The fateful die was cast:
His first illegal escapade
Would not be his last.

They got him duly compromised
And sealed his loyalty.
They locked him with a vise-like grip
And threw away the key.

The loyalty that they exacted
Wasn't to the nation,
But to the thugs who call the shots
For his organization.
