The Foster Dodge
by DCDave

They set up the standard of "not impossible"
To measure the government's case.
A hurdler running a hurdleless lane
Would have a more challenging race.

And they could hardly have been more disingenuous,
As much as they might have tried,
When they assured us the evidence was
"Consistent with suicide."

What they have artfully not addressed
--And it's doubtless for our own good--
Is which of the ways the man might have died
Has the most likelihood.
